Well, I don't have a lot of time right now (because of going out to dinner), so I can't go into a really deep analysis of anyone. I *can* just tell you a bit about one of my own characters, though. Hmm. Darren or Paige? Darren....or Paige...

Well, it's after dinner now. I'm kind of hungry right now, though, because I didn't eat dinner.

*sigh* I know, I know. I gotta tell this now :) It's honestly not a very interesting story, lol.

So, some of you know that I'm allergic to peanuts. Anyway, most of the things on the menu at the Chinese were "peanut such-and-such" or "so-and-so with peanut sauce". -.- So I decided not to risk dying and just didn't eat anything, lol! I honestly wasn't hungry anyway, though, and Chinese isn't really my favorite, so that was okay. I got a soft pretzel at Target later.

Ohh, I have some news about the Mulan audition: I'm not singing "It's Over" anymore, although that was really perfect for my vocal range (as I know it, anyway). Matt ("little brother") and Katie ("little sister)'s mom works with a lady named Roxanne, and Roxanne's husband is the one directing Mulan. So, M&K's mom got some more information about the audition for me, and it turns out that I A: should not sing a guy song (not that "It's Over" is anyway), B: should not sing a group song, and C: should sing something Disney-Channel-esque.

While out eating Chinese of Death and poking around at Target, we went to the CD section and I asked a sale's girl about karaoke stuff. (She was kind of funny. Red hair, lots of makeup, it was her first day in the electronics department. She reminds me so much of someone...who is it??)

We ended up buying a Taylor Swift karaoke CD, and I'm going to sing part of "Teardrops on My Guitar". It was the only song on the CD I knew, and it was the only CD we could find. *shrugs* I can sing some of it, so that's good enough for me (and hopefully the audition people...).

Now I just have to learn the lyrics, learn the timing, figure out how long "16 bars" is, pick a section to sing, get used to doing it without her voice, and practice.

*GROAN* Kendra, you sure know how to make your life interesting.

But, hey, anything to entertain my followers, right? ;) Haha, no, stuff like this just happens to me naturally ;D And it's usually my own fault. Like now for example.

*sigh* Well, I need to go read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, which I'm supposed to finish today. No, I have not started. I have so much to do tomorrow it's not even funny. I maybe be doing some work on the weekend :-/

Well, my mom had a good birthday full of waffles for breakfast, her favorite Mocha Java coffee, turkey-bacon-apple-clubs for lunch, Bath and Body Works stress relief bath salt, Dove dark chocolates, a new lounge, nightgown thing, and dinner at Chinese. Hope she had a good birthday :) I think she did.

Paige

It's Picture Day! I know this isn't very creative, but this is a picture of Paige, the main character in my book "The Mirror". It looks EXACTLY like her. It couldn't have been better if I had drawn it myself. (Not that I can draw, lol!) Anyway, I'm hoping this will spark my creativity and get rid of my writer's block...so far, NOT WORKING. *sigh*

My grandpa is coming today! He's supposed to be here in like seven minutes. He lives about four hours away, so we don't see him much. He hasn't even seen the house all finished! He's going to be so surprised to see how far it's come since he saw it when it was under construction.

Uh-oh...

I just realized I haven't really cleaned my room up a whole lot...

I'm trying to think of something worth throwing out for other people to read. And I'm coming up blank...

Well, my writer's block is gone! Yay! Kyle, thanks for the thing about Paige tripping. That totally losened me up, lol! I just reached over 42,000 words (yay), and have thought up some more plotline, which is always a good thing :)

Uhm...........yeah, it's really hard to focus on blogging when Darren and Paige are screaming at me to write more of their lives, so, I gotta go. :D Ttyl!

I Didn't Crash and I Also Didn't Procrastinate

GUESS WHAT??? I DROVE TODAY!! AND I DIDN'T CRASH! Lol! I was so happy! Not with a driving instructor or anything big like that, just around the neighborhood where the New House is. At first, it was a little scary as usual, but it got easier more quickly than usual. I've driven before, but only for like three minutes at a time. Just down the road or something. This time, I drove ALL OVER the new neighborhood when we went to see the House.

Oh my gosh, the House is finished! All that's left is for the people to come and clean up the floor and counters and vacuum and stuff. It's beautiful! Wow! And it was really windy today, which is, like, my favorite! (I absolutley LOVE wind.) The landscaping is so beautiful, and the carpet is in. I don't know how or why, but the carpet made my room look bigger...My room with BLUE WALLS of course. Lol! Creativity to the max!!

Today I tried not to procrastinate, and things went...wow. A lot faster than usual. I finished much earlier when I wasn't stopping to stare at my story or check my empty inbox for the millionth time :) Not that I usually do that or anything...........hehe :) I think staying on top of things will be a little easier now that I've seen for myself how big of a difference it makes.

Oh, and I finally figured out who this OTHER girl in my dance class reminds me of. Can you guess? Yup. (Or maybe no. What did you think it was?) Another book character. There's a girl in my dance class named Brooke that looks exactly like Paige Walt from Creepy Story. Acts like her sort of; not quite. But she looks almost just like her, and she reminds me of her. I'll have to post a picture of her if possible....which it probably isn't. Still. I'll try. And I'll try to get one of McKinna, too. Gosh, McKinna scares me sometimes. She's just exactly like Ember Smokeman....

Well, other than my driving and the fact that the House is so awesome I can hardly stand it, not a lot is goin' on. But still, that's pretty good for me. Driving, moving, not procrastinating, meeting my own characters. The worlds is a pretty crazy place after all. Don't miss it. :)

P.S. I still haven't heard back from the Shurtugal.com people. I don't know if you remember, I applied for a job as a columnist for them. They haven't responded...Do you think they're still considering, or should I give up?
