Yeah, I'm posting twice in the same day. But I figure that's okay for the following reasons:
1. I haven't been posting much lately, so this will compensate a little.
2. I have some awesome news (3 actually) to share.
3. I forgot to thank some new followers :O
4. I got tagged by Silver Angel!
First things first, thanks for following, duck_sister, Marissa, Silver Angel, and Jennoula2009! Wow! :D (Sorry I couldn't find links for duck_sister and Jenn!)
Now, awesome newses XD
I FOUND MY MOOD RING!!!!!! :O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O:O I had totally given up, but it turned up in a notebook case! I do not remember putting it in there. Am I the luckiest person in the world, or what? ;) Another Fortuna Kendrae.
Awesome news #2: I GOT A CALL BACK FOR DANCE IN "THE KING AND I"!!!!! YAY! :O :D I think Cavender is coming with me, so he'll get to see me either sink or swim, lol XD Hopefully I'll swim. And gracefully XD
News #3: I'm on Facebook. There's a little gadget on the right...scroll down. Keep scrolling. Keep--yeah, there. Add me :D
Okay, now for the awesome tag from Silver Angel (whose blog I like. Check it out.):
Rules: 8 books you'd like to live in (mine aren't in order) and why, then tag 8 people! Easy ;)
Book 1: "Eragon". Sorry, but Alagaesia is awesome. And because it's necessary to continue the story. You know the green dragon appearing in the fourth book? Yeah, I'm the Rider. Oh yes.
Book 2: "Lord of the Rings". Surely this doesn't need a Why?? *sigh* If you must know, it's because I think Tolkien was one of the greatest fantasy geniuses on the earth. His world is so complete, it's hard to believe it doesn't really exist. Every race has its own back story, its own legends, its own customs and ways of life. It's just so rich with detail, and I'd love to meet the Hobbits :) Elves, too, but I do love the Hobbits.
Book 3: "The Chronicles of Narnia". Tolkien was a genius, but Narnia holds an irreplaceable spot in my heart. My friends and I once thought we had actually found Narnia in the backyard of my school. I'm not so sure we were wrong...Talking trees, knights in shining armor and wolves have to mean something, right??
Book 4: "The Mirror". Is it egotistical and/or cheating to want to visit my own book? I want to know that I got my characters right, and I'm sure there's a lot I'd have to see to describe accurately. And I wanna meet Luken rlybad.
Book 5: "Peter Pan". Never land is right up there with Narnia. No lie. And Peter Pan is freaking awesome.
Book 6: "The Farsala Trilogy". Really cool books. Kinda hard to explain, but awesome.
Book 7: "Sophie's World". That is such an epic book. It is truly something. Like philosophy, mystery, suspense, fantasy and education wrapped up in one. It is so cool. You have to read it some time in your life. Really, it's so eye-opening and AWESOME.
Book 8: "Uglies series". It's set in the future. Scott Westerfield has an incredible mind for technology. It would be so cool to use some of the gadgets first-hand. And the problems introduced in their world are very interesting.
Thanks for the tag, Silver Angel! That was fun!
I tag...

P.S. I know it's too late to do the blog parade Bekah was having, but the questions are so fun. Would it be okay if I did them in a tag sometime?

A Lame Award and Two Good Newses (Lol XD)
I had a soccer game today. More on that later.
---------------------------
Award Day!!
The I-Know-You-In-Real-Life Award! :D I know, pitifully unoriginal and disappointing. Sorry.
It goes to Cavender, Gracie, Gabrielle, Lizzy, Ellie B, Meggie, Mr. Chris, Tori, David Bailey, Anna Lee, Cassie Roads, Nicole, Lisabailey and Ember! It's great knowing you guys!
----------------------------
So, I had a soccer game today. We played the team with all the really good Mexican kids on it. (I'm not being racist, I'm just saying they're all REALLY GOOD where I live.) It was coached by a college guy named Luis, who's pretty much a soccer legend in my town. I didn't think we would win.
Which is why it surprised me when we did.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D I actually did okay this game, too!! Ben (The Dare Devil) even told me I did well, and he never says that unless it's true. Especially at soccer. He doesn't talk to me that much at soccer. So yay!! :)
Lizzy's party was today, but because of the soccer game, I missed pretty much all of it :( Ah well. It's times when she gets all her friends together that I actually like being the oldest. I get a lot of reverent looks from the younger ones when I tell them I'm a sophmore XD
No play practice today, but I have it tomorrow.
OH!! I didn't tell you about Thursday night. Okay, so, Thursday night at play practice, we started at the beginning of the show, and just did it up until a certain point with singing, dancing, lines and everything. My part came. Man, my heart was pounding, but I sang it out. (I actually sing better when I sing loud.) I sounded fine! I was so relieved. The second time through wasn't as good. I got a little nervous for no reason, and I didn't sing very loud, so I couldn't hit some notes :-/
We took a five minute break, and Matt (who's playing Shang, the main guy character) came up to me and told me, "Girl, you can sing! You sound good! You just gotta sing loud."
That made me feel SO GOOD. I was definitely beaming for a while. I was so afraid that I just sounded really bad, but apparently I sound fine. What a relief! And it was nice of Matt to encourage the New Girl.
Sorry. That was random and you probably don't care XD
That's all! Thanks for reading! Bye!

News of Many Varieties
Good news, medium news, sad news and terribly sad news:
Good news first: MY PHYSICAL SCIENCE TEST WENT JUST FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I got an A!! The test was much easier than I thought it was going to be. My mom says it was because I studied so hard. Maybe it was! Cool!
Medium news second: School is over. *blink* Holy crud. School is over????? I'm on.........summer break?? NOOOOOOOOOOOO! *moan* I'm bored already! I've hated school and wanted summer for the past two months, but now I'm sad! And sort of happy, too. I mean, no more science. I still have a ton of math to do. *glares* And no friends. *sniff sniff* Oh well. I'm free, right? That should feel like good news. Except for now some people aren't coming back next year, and I'll pretty much never REALLY see him again. I mean them. Okay, yeah, it's a him, but I don't like him or anything. I'm just gonna miss him being around. Okay, change this from being "medium news" to just being "sad news".
Sad news third: I don't remember what this was going to be...
Terribly sad news: Okay, have I mentioned this thing called Mock Trial to you? Well, I don't have time to go into a lot of detail, just know it's a complicated and challenging court experience thing people at my "school" do in Challenge B (eighth grade). It's a huge competition, and it's much harder than it looks. And it looks hard! My team won the championships. I loved Mock Trial. That's what made me want to be a lawyer. So, when this year's eighth graders started preparing, I was so excited!! I helped them all I could, but some of them just were not taking the whole thing seriously.
Yesterday was the first round of the competition. The team mostly surprised me! They were very good! Some of it was excellent, some of it wasn't so good. But I was still thinking we had won the first round. I mean, of course they would win the first round. Never in the whole history of the tutor has her class come in anything but second or first.
There is a first time for everything, folks.
Yeah.
They LOST.
They lost.
They lost??????????????
I'm so upset! More upset than you can realize! Mock Trial is a huge deal to me. I could hardly sleep last night at first. I just kept going over the trial in my head again and again and again and AGAIN. I couldn't stop! I kept telling myself, "KENDRA, STOP IT. This wasn't even your class; why are you so upset? And anyway, it's OVER. You can't do anything about winning now."
*moan* So, yeah. That's very sad news.
A tiny bit more not-so-good-news: On account of all the stress of three finals, a memorized speech, and Mock Trial, I have three stress pimples, and two ulcers in my throat, and I think I might have a stomach ulcer.
I know. I seriously need to switch to decaf. Lol! :) Really, I'm okay. I know I'll get over all of this eventually. Even my class breaking apart. It's all good. Sort of. I WILL be all good. You just gotta believe that. Things will work out right somehow, even if it isn't YOUR version of "right". God knows what he's doing. Carpe diem!

Ehh, not much, but all good!
I have had a very wonderful and...interesting day.
I got a ton of school work done. Still grappling with my philosophy project, but my science research paper is going well and so is MATH! WOW! Creepy is going okay, and my dog is getting used to the invisible fence just fine.
I feel kind of sick right now, but I'll be okay in a little while probably, lol! Will probably post something of more significance later, but who knows?
Oh, and check this out: http://toseizethenight.blogspot.com/

Good News, Bad News
Good news: finally have "Colors of the Wind" out of my head.
Bad news: now I have a Hilary Duff song stuck in my head and she seriously irritates me.
Good news: next to no driver's ed work this week.
Bad news: still stuck-ish in Creepy.
Good news: It's supposed to snow tonight.
Bad news: I highly doubt it will.
Other than that, not much has been going on. Creepy is really bugging me though. I can't get going. I honestly feel like the last...46 pages are crap. I lost my touch, the plot isn't tight, it's boring, I hate it, AHHH! No idea what to do. I have an ending (sort of...maybe...), but that isn't even any consolation.
I really am sorry that I'm being so grumpy and gloomy lately. But I have to complain somewhere. I haven't been writing in my journal lately, so I need to say it somewhere:
1. I lost $11.99 because SOMEONE, who shall remain nameless, turned off the computer while I was downloading an album off iTunes. (If you're reading this, SOMEONE, I'm not mad. I'm just saying all the stuff that's gone wrong this week.)
2. I've been cold for over 48 hours straight. Or at least I was. I'm okay now.
3. Creepy sucks.
4. I have a stupid Hilary Duff song in my head and it WON'T GO AWAY. I liked "Colors of the Wind" better than this!!
5. Haven't started my huge philosophy project yet, and I don't want to do the idea I chose but I'm stuck with it now and if it bombs it's going to be really embarrassing because of the type of project.
6. Something that I don't feel like telling the whole world.
7. My computer is being a total piece of freaking CRAP lately. Half the time the internet won't load AT ALL, and the other half it won't load fast AT ALL.
8. Writer's block.
9. Journal block.
10. Haven't heard from Shur'tugal people and it's really starting to annoy me.
Okay, sorry. Just venting. You don't have to say you're sorry for me if you don't want to. I know I've been moping a lot lately and y'all's suggestions really helped me :) Thanks, y'all! You rock! I promise I'll get cheerier soon (ish...). Especially after we move.
OHHHHHHH!! I didn't tell you the best news I don't think! We get to move this weekend! We had thought it might be months, but we'll move this weekend! Yay!! :) :) :) :) :)
Oh! And happy March, everyone! :)
