A Happy Ending, But...

Well. Today was preeeetty awful.

#1: Woke up to an angry mother.
#2: Got my cell phone taken away.
#3: Did not get enough school done.
#4: My mom's students came this afternoon, which translates to no computer use and no desk chair in my room -_-
#5: A girl stepped on my toe at dance. In a tap shoe. It kills -_-

And then the worst:

#7: My ring broke. The one I replaced my mood ring with. The one that was my favorite.

:-/ >.< :( :'(

I should have taken if off before dance. But being the incredibly intelligent individual I am, I did not. So now it's busted. Into three pieces. I only found two.

Only now today doesn't suck AS much anymore because SOMEONE just made me laugh my head off and smile and grin, so...whatcha gonna do? Did today suck, or is all well that end's well?

I'm going with a happy ending fixes everything.

At least until I remember my ring is busted and my mood ring is somewhere at Great Wolf Lodge and so my ring finger feels all naked and sobbing and my toe--

Never mind. All's well that ends well XD

Today Sucks. Yesterday Rocked.

This SUCKS.

*rips hair out*

Yeah, it's kinda been one of THOSE days -_-

My school work went/is going really terribly today. And it's basically my fault. It's just been one of those days where I can't get myself motivated, and I want to do/think about other things.

I don't LIKE being lazy. But it is so hard to change :-| So, overall today has sucked, and is still sucking. Really bad. And me sitting here typing this when I should be doing SO MANY OTHER THINGS isn't helping anything. But here I am :-|

So, yesterday was Valentine's Day, and I didn't blog. *sigh* Ah, well. I did that epic V-Day Eve post, so that counts for something, right? *shrug*

Valentine's Day was good. Actually, no, it was a heckuvalot better than "good". It was pretty much AWESOME :D

I got woken up at 7:30, which wasn't a great start, but there was a good reason: the Heart Trail. Every Valentine's Day, Lizzy and I wake up to a trail of paper hearts leading us to our Valentine's Day candy and presents! :D I'm never gonna be too old for that. I asked my mom if she'll come do it for my college dorm XD

I got CANDY and a cute Valentine's Day shirt. I wore the shirt to church

Church was good. It was the ten year anniversary, so we had a slide show with pictures of everyone in all the different buildings we've met in. Matt and Katie and Lizzy and I were so little and cute! Especially them, lol. No so much me XD I just looked like an annoying, little version of how I am now. Matt and Lizzy's hair used to be almost white-blonde, and Katie was just plain ADORABLE. Curls and lil' chubby cheeks XD Those three are the cutest kids in the whole world (with the possible exception of Kyle's little siblings).

After church we went over to Matt and Katie's house with a bunch of other people. Lunch was tacos. Everyone had trouble eating them, lol! We ended up kinda messy XD

After lunch, I felt awkward. I know it seems rude, but some of the girls...I just feel stupid around them >.< Like they're so much cooler than I am that everything I say comes out lame. So, I opted for antisocial and went upstairs to watch Matt and his two friends play Modern Warfare 2 :-| I feel sort of bad for "ditching" the girls, though :-/

The boys were fine with me hanging out with them. They're used to it. I think they actually like me, at least sometimes. I can't offer any game advice, but I'm sarcastic enough that I provide some comic relief XD

Matt has read all the Harry Potter books apparently O.O I'm still on four...I can't believe it. My little brother reads faster than me now?? Crazy times, people. I wouldn't mind so much if he'd keep his mouth shut, but he just HAS to spoil everything he can think of -_- I spent like five solid minutes with my hands over my ears doing the standard, "LALALALA...".

I think he started to actually get a little bored with MW2 after a while. He went and got the third book in the Percy Jackson series and started reading O.o How did I miss this facet of his personality?? I didn't even know he liked to read much less INSTEAD of video games! :O

I'd read the first book in the series, and part of the second one, but I'd never finished it. Matt gave me the second one and we started reading. We scared his friend with our lovely, wholesome interest >:D

After Friends A and B left, Matt and I just read in the movie room until Mr. Leon came up and said we were being antisocial. *sigh* So we had to go down and mingle, lol XD

Then there was youth group. It was a tad boring.

Then my family went out to dinner at JP Looney's. That was good. We called Matt and Katie to see if they wanted to eat with us, but they were tired from all the company, so we just got wings to bring home to them.

Don't you love friends that you can just walk in on and they don't think anything of it?

We got to Matt and Katie's house with the wings and Matt came to the door. He blinked,

"Y'all come late..."

Lols XD

We walked in and put the wings on the counter. Katie was studying for a Latin test and was really worried about it, so I sat down and helped her. Matt ate wings and read Percy Jackson. My mom and Mrs. Martha went to the bedroom and talked secrets apparently. Katie tried going in several times and got shooed out. Lol *shrug* The dads just sat talking and watched the Olympics.

Their house feels like a second home. I love them.

Then we came home, and I talked to Cavender :D :D :D :D :--Yeah, lotsa smilies, ANYWAY. Advance claiming FTW ;)

Then I kinda vegged out on the couch 'cause I was starting not to feel good :-| I watched the Olympics and texted someone...*cough* Cavender *cough* Then I watched Wizards of Waverly Place for a little while, hoping I would stop feeling sick to my stomach -_- I did.

Then...I went to bed :D And slept until 8:30 this morning.

So. Yesterday rocked. Today sucked/is sucking :D/-_-

Advice Day

Ready for my supreme knowledge?

"Don't get behind in math." ~Kendra Logan

-_- It will kill you dead.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyway. Today was...extremely unproductive and just generally cruddy, but then at the same time it was fun... I messed around most of the day, then did math.
I was woefully behind. I mean, I had been keeping up with the work, but not with the understanding. I'm terrible at math. I'm in algebra 1 AGAIN -_- I don't ever seem to understand even the simplest things. Thanks to Cavender and Kyle for trying to help. Ish XD My mom and dad did eventually clear things up for me.
Then, my ulcer started getting worse. Um, AGAIN. I've been battle the stupid mouth-blister for a week now. It's a literal pain to eat, a literal pain to smile, a literal pain to laugh, talk, and all the other things I do a lot (apparently).
Also, I found out ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE news about my driver's ed certificate. We'd been calling the department of Non-Public Education to send me a form I need to get my permit. We've called four times, and they still haven't sent my form. Well, today my dad finally got a hold of a non-machine person and guess what?
We apparently aren't in the records. And to get your permit form mailed to you, that means your school has to have been set up for at least six months. Know what that means?
I WON'T BE ABLE TO GET MY PERMIT UNTIL I'M AT LEAST SIXTEEN AND A HALF. AND THEN I CAN'T GET MY LICENSE TILL A YEAR AFTER THAT. I WILL BE
SEVENTEEN AND A FREAKING HALF BY THE TIME I GET A LICENSE.
Does that suck or what?
Yeah. It sucks.
But then, on the other hand, I've had so much fun with my friends today (all online, LOL), that today really wasn't bad at all. Weird, huh? Well, I mean, I guess not really...
Okay, my thoughts are very scattered today/right now. I guess I'll leave you now :)
Writer's Depression
She stared at the blank Word document, hoping for something to come out. Nothing did except the words “I suck”. And her next sentence, “I will never be a writer” came out “I wlil never be a wirter”, proving that even Word hated her.
What happened to those days when she’d take out a fresh notebook and start a wonderful new story? What happened to the days when she’d discontinue the story three days later and not even be bothered by it? What happened to the days when she’d chose acting out a scene in her room over TV and computer any day?
She put her head in her hands. Maybe she wasn’t made for this after all. I mean, she’d only wanted to be a writer for fifteen years, right? She could be wrong. Maybe she was secretly destined to be an astronaut.
She snorted. Yeah, an astronaut. Thanks but no thanks. She wanted to be a writer.
Maybe depression was good. She actually didn’t mind. It’s good to be able to slip into different moods. Makes writing characters easier. Hey, maybe she ought to write down how she was feeling now! It might come in handy…Who knows? Maybe one day she’d have a depressed character to write…
Yes, she had better get this down before her depression went away.
"She stared at the blank Word document, hoping for something to come out..."
Been There Done That and Allergies
Okay, I'm not really sure where exactly in the Bible this is, but at church today, we sang a song about God being everlasting; how he doesn't grow weary, and how he's completely all-powerful. And so I got to thinking, "Well, isn't that great? He can't know how I feel then, can he? Mr. I-Can-Blow-Up-The-World-With-One-Word can't possibly understand my struggle to grasp physical science!"
And then I had another thought!
THAT'S WHY HE SENT JESUS, BOZO!
See, that's why my God is so cool! He's like three in one! The all-powerful, world-creating God who listens to your every word (only not in a creepy way :D), the Holy Spirit who can help you randomly when you're in a tight spot without you even having to ask, and finally, JESUS, who might be my favorite "piece" of God. He totally gave up paradise to come down to Earth and experience life WITH us! Aside from taking all the penalty for our being sinners obviously, I think one of the most important reasons for Jesus coming to Earth was so that he could tell us that he knows how we feel.
God is cool, but Jesus has BEEN THERE. He's been made fun of, gotten super hungry, had his parents not understand him, been deserted by his closest friends, felt that frustration when you're trying to explain something and people JUST AREN'T GETTIN' IT, and ALL THAT STUFF! Jesus has been through, like, everything!
So, when I pray now, I don't have to be all stuck up thinking that God is so sheltered and he doesn't even know what I'm going through. Now I can just remember that, well, Jesus does. He's a classic case of Been There Done That And Got the Robe.
--------------------------
Well, it's kinda late, and I'm really tired, so I think I'm just gonna be out! Oh, but last night and this morning, my eye puffed up because of allergies! Yeah, it sucks: I'm allergic to pollen. *sigh* Oh well, must enjoy summer anyway! I went down to the beach again, but I cut my foot going barefoot ALL DAY yesterday, so walking around a ton kinda hurt :( And now I have this creepy rash on my left thigh from who-knows-what, and it's freaking me out! Well, not totally, just a little. Mostly I just don't want it to get worse...so, pray for my allergies, cross your fingers, whatever works for you! ;) Carpe this aestas diem!
OH NO!!!!!
Oh no!
My beautiful custom-colored blue walls!
I was putting this corkboard thing up and the sticky-tabs to hold it in place are super strong, so I tested them on a little place in the corner to make sure it wouldn't wreck the walls. It didn't. So I put the corkboard up. I hated it. So I took it down.
RIP!
THE PAINT COMPLETELY CAME OFF AND LEFT NASTY CARDBOARD STUFF STUCK TO IT FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ruined the walls!!!!!!!! The paint was custom made!!!!!!! We can just repaint it! And even if we could, you would see strokes all over the spot!!!!! I've ruined my beautiful walls! My perfect room is wrecked!!!
Oh, I'm so sad and upset :'(
Warning: Don't read if you have a history of depression.
My house is the black hole of depression. THE BLACK HOLE. My whole family is upset and so freaking stressed. You don't know. You can't know. My mom is crying, my dad looks so defeated, my sister avoids us, I can't even breathe I'm so...something. We've put everything on the line, and things just...fell apart. We can't move in, our house is in chaos, we don't know when we'll be able to move. We can't live like this. My parents have to work, my sister and I have to do school. My stomach hurts, my head hurts, my throat hurts (probably because I'm holding back tears), my everything hurts. Everything is dark. Nothing has color right now. This is a bleak, depressing, probably-melodramatic post, but it's how I'm feeling. I can't even write Creepy. I have so much driver's ed homework to do it isn't even funny.
Life sucks. And then you die.
Carpe diem?
P.S. I just had an interesting idea: I should have a blog called Carpe Noctem...hmm...
