Eight Days and a Tag!

Semi-long post, so here's a guide, LOL:
1st: A brief update on my day with Matt and Katie.
2nd: Christmas Countdown (only eight more days!!)
3rd: A tag from Bleah Briann!

I just got back from Katie 's ("little sister's") Christmas program at her school.

It was fine, but the funnest parts of the trip were the car rides and stopping at Target, etc. The seats of the Sequoia slide up so that people can get out of the back, you know? Well, Matt nearly crushed me with that little trick several times. Thank you, Matthew.

We also stopped at Cold Stone, where Matt proceeded to give himself an ice cream mustache AND goatee.

I can't take him anywhere.

LOL, just kidding :D

I also taught Matt and Katie the parodies of Joy to the World and We Three Kings. They loved that. Katie sang it at the top of her lungs for a while. Then we exchanged lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail ("We are the knights who say...NI!") and Matt did some more work with the umbrella as a *insert British accent* "johvelin".

Basically, tonight rocked :D I love having extra siblings!!! It's especially fun when you see check-out people giving Mrs. Martha that "bless your heart" look as she totes us around :D But we aren't as annoying as we were as six-year-olds, that's for sure. Well, maybe Matt still is :P

Okay, folks, can you believe that it is only EIGHT DAYS until Christmas??? That's only a tinyyyy bit more than a week!! So, what do we do?

EIGHT CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS!

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Now, the tag from Bleah!

1. Say something random: "If all the animals along the equator were capable of flattery, then Thanksgiving and Halloween would fall on the same date."

2. Yell something random, out loud: "HAND OVER THE SPATULA!"

3. Do you play an instrument? I can play four chords on the guitar and Mary Had a Little Lamb on the piano. So, no XD But I sing.

4. What's your full name? Kendra Marielle Logan (I like it ’cause it’s a total contradiction. Kendra means “fire sprung” and then Marielle means “star of the sea”.)

5. What do you think of blogger? It’s a great way to record my memories! As y’all probably know, I hate forgetting. Blogging gives me a way to put down my thoughts, feelings, experiences, and occasional brilliant revelations ;)

6. What do you think of this tag? So far, awesome! I’ve been wanting to do this one :)

7. What's your opinion on Christian rock bands? Awesome, of course.

8. If you answered yes on #3 have you ever messed up while playing in front of people? My voice cracked once during Mulan.

9. What's something that you've always wanted to do but haven't? Go to NYC at Christmas time, go to Ireland, tell a few people what I really think of them, go bungee jumping/cliff diving, write a decent book…

10. How many bloggers do you know in real life? Well, define “real life”. As in “have met” or as in “have communications with them outside of blogger”? By definition one, I know: Lizzy, lisabailey, Nicole, Sam Probert, Mr. Chris, David Bailey, anna lee, Tori, Ellie B., Gabrielle, and Cassie. By definition two, I also know: Kyle Hendricks, Bethany, KnightWing, Seth and Earwen a little :)

11. Have you ever played bloody knuckles? Yep. I won :D

12. Have you ever caught a sockeye Salmon? …um, no…

13. Have you ever played funky angel? I don’t know what that is…

14. Tell us about your worst accident? Hmm…I was attacked by a dog when I was nine. I’ve never been in a car accident other than hitting deer…I’m not particularly accident-prone, actually.

15. Rant about what ever you've been holding in? I don’t hold back much on the blog :) If I don’t already rant about it, then I’m not going to ;)

16. Do you like caroling? Sort of. I’m scared of dogs, though, so that makes the whole experience kind of nerve-wracking.

17. Where do you live? My lil’ town.

18. Do you like it where you live? Psh, yeah! I love my town :) Even though we’re all up in each other’s lives, it’s awesome!

19. What was your most recent adventure? “It’s dangerous business, going out your door.” :) Depends on how you define adventure, silly! But going anywhere with Matt and Katie is an adventure, let me tell ya that :)

20. Luke or Venator? Um…what? Bleah suggested that maybe this question was supposed to read “Luke or Vader”. If that’s the case, then VADER ALL THE WAY. Luke is great, don’t get me wrong, and I really love his character, but really GOOD villains are so rare.

21. Do you like the Obama administration? Call me racist, but for some reason I have a problem with promising change and then getting an award for it before you even have a chance to breathe. I also don’t approve of socialism, so that pretty much automatically makes me against the Obamination.

22. Dance par-tee or music brawl? Hmm…what?

23. What Number is this? Twenty-three. Geez, what are you, home-schooled? ;P

24. What is two + 2? Quartus.

25. Books or movies? Books. Like, no-brainer. The book are always better than the movies. (With the exception of Prince Caspian. I actually preferred the movie! *gasp*)

26. What would you do to see wild horses? Give you a high five. Whee. LOL.

27. What is the best joke you can think of right now? All THESE. You might be a Yankee “jokes”. HAHAHAHAHAHA. No, really. Is this stuff true? Someone up north tell me if this stuff is true, ’cause surely y’all you don’t call cooking outside “barbeque”…do you?

28. Do you have a secret blog? Yes.

29. Do you know what a Granny beaded neck is? Sure. Don’t you? Oh, crud, maybe it’s a southern thing…

30. PC or laptop? Laptop!

31. Click 5 or Switchfoot? Switchfoot!

32. How many siblings do you have? Just one biologically: Lizzy, she’s thirteen. If you count Matt (thirteen) and Katie (eleven), then three.

33. Do you have a favorite game? Anything competitive that shows I’m just as good as guys. No, seriously. I love that. BTW, I’ve never been outrun. I tied with one guy who was a year older than me but that’s as close as I’ve come to losing. And I don’t do ANYTHING. So, that’s weird.

34. Name the rockiest Christian band you know: I love Relient K.

35. What does J.O.Y. stand for? Either Jolliest Of Year, Just Ostracize Yaks or Jesus Obviously Yodels. You can pick.

36. Are you a member of J.O.Y? Absolutely. We have to put a stop to this yak problem.

37. Have you ever fell a tree with a chainsaw? Dur. Dang, I’m so southern apparently and I didn’t even know it…FYI, we’re smart, pretty and popular, only we can skin a squirrel at the same time :P

38. Favorite song? How about the top three? Merry Christmas Heres To Many More – Relient K, Orchard of Mines – Globus, or God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen – any version. I highly recommend the Globus song. I *love* it. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT.

Mr. Sark and 12 Other Characters ;)

Okay, first, let me just say this: See that poll on the right? Can we get all 80 followers to vote? Yes? No? Let's find out. VOTE :)

NOW, let me introduce you to my latest and EXTREMELY STRONG obsession:

Mr. Sark.

*hyperventilates*

I completely do not know where to start. But, as always, I will try :)

Have any of you heard of the TV series "Alias"? It came on TV a few years ago, but I was too little to be allowed to watch it, much less appreciate it. Now my family has it on DVD and I am an avid watcher. If you like spy movies with lots of action, clever dialogue, unparalleled acting, and an amazing storyline topped off with the great director J.J. Abrams, this is for you! Fans of the Bourne movies will love it.

Anyway, Mr. Sark's character was introduced for the first time in an episode I watched today. The episode opens with him, and before I even had time to process anything, I exploded with an, "OH MY GOSH WHO IS HE???"

My parents (who also LOVE the show and watched it when it came on TV) laughed and told me I was going to LOVE this guy.

They were right. He's amazing, and I've only seen one episode with him in it. I haven't the slightest idea what makes him so amazing, I really don't. Something about him makes my eyes glue to the screen and my lips grin, even though he's evil. He's not the hottest guy in the world and he doesn't have particularly amazing eyes, but something about him is incredible. A real "you just have to see him in action" thing.

I.

Love.

Mr..

Sark.

It got better when he opened his mouth. His voice is perfect. Deep, soft-but-hard and--get this--HE'S BRITISH! :O

Okay, now for what you've all been waiting for. A picture. Fascinated ladies and indifferent gentlemen, I give you...

Mr. Sark:
That picture is now my computer wallpaper. Click to enlarge :)

If you're interested, here are a few more:

****IMPORTANT: IF YOU WATCH ALIAS AND KNOW ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS, DO NOT TELL ME. I AM ON MY FIRST TIME THROUGH THE SERIES. I DO NOT LIKE SPOILERS ;)****

Okay, I'm done. Sorry. Now to Christmas :D

Twelve days until Christmas. Twelve days. That's like close to ten days, which sounds REALLY close, does it not? Hmm, what shall we do twelve of? Twelve...twelve...AH HA!

Top Twelve Most Popular "Christmas Characters" (compiled by me, haha):

1. Jesus

2. Santa

3. The Grinch

4. Scrooge

5. Rudolf

6. Frosty

7. The Nutcracker Prince

8. Burgermeister Meisterburger

9. Tiny Tim

10. The Sugarplum Fairy (the Nutcracker)

11. Jack Frost

12. Clara (the Nutcracker)

MERRY TWELVE-DAYS-UNTIL CHRISTMAS! And watch Alias. It's good :)

Well, Folks, It's Today...

I have a new follower! Thanks, Olive Tree!

NEW MOON COMES OUT AT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT/TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I am going to be at the theater! Cassie Roads and I will be arriving at the theater two hours ahead of time to ensure a good seat. And I'm still not holding my breath for one. I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be Twi-hards and fanpires lined up outside as early as 6pm this evening.

Can you believe that last year I was about to wet my pants to go see Twilight? LOL! Boy, how times have changed. I've barely had time to think about New Moon until, like, today. I kept thinking I'd start getting excited...but I never did. I'm definitely excited now, but it's more like a vague smile as I participate in a fad than a screaming obsession.

Maturing? *shrug* Maybe :)

So, in honor of the Day of Release, I thought I'd do a Twilight post containing all my thoughts about it. Feel free to roll your eyes and skip this post if you so desire :)

I've already state my opinion on the Why-Christians-Should-Hate-Twilight issue, so I won't go into that again (I believe Twilight is perfectly okay for Believers, by the way). If you want to here my relatively-short-for-me rant, click HERE.

Now my view on the ever-popular issue: TEAM EDWARD OR TEAM JACOB??

VIEWS ON EDWARD
The Good
1. Beautiful
2. Strong
3. Mythical
4. Firm believer in abstinence

The Bad
1. Ultimate controlling boyfriend
2. Learn to laugh, would ya, Ed?
3. Dead
4. His love for Bella is completely unrealistic. I mean, really?
5. Robert Pattinson is ugly.

VIEWS ON JACOB
The Good
1. Hott
2. Great sense of humor
3. Mythical
4. Fun to hang out with
5. Loved/knew Bella as a friend first
6. Protective, but not controlling
7. Did I already say hott?
8. Did I mention great sense of humor?

The Bad
1. ...
2. ...
3 ...OH! He swears a couple of times! That could be bad, right...?
4. ...

So, that's where I stand on the Team Jacob vs. Team Edward issue.

BUT. There is someone who trumps them both.

Guess who?

EMMETT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WooooooooooooooT! :) Hehe, he's my faaaaaavorite. He's everything Jacob is/has except he's an OLDER BROTHER, TOO!! I mean, c'mon! ;)

Now. Which book is my favorite? I like them all for different reasons, so it's honestly hard to choose.

TWILIGHT:
Great beginning to the story. Edward is awesome in this one because you don't get to know Jacob that much XD Edward and Bella's relationship is fun and healthy and Edward growls several times. *girlish giggle*

Sorry.

*clears throat*

NEW MOON:
**SPOILER ALERT**
Edward leaves!! :O *gasp* Which sucks the first time you read the book, but then when you read it again, you're not as shocked and you can enjoy Jacob more. Then the book is pretty awesome. Lots of Jacob and Jacob-esque humor. Bella and Edward's relationship spirals quickly into the utterly ridiculous and unhealthy stage.

ECLIPSE:
Definitely my ultimate LEAST FAVORITE. Edward is back (*grumble*), and a complete control-freak. He keeps Bella from her other friends and from her best friend, Jacob. Bella and Edward's relationship is stupid and creepy, and Jacob is constantly fighting for attention. There are some good moments, of course, but over all I wanted to slap Edward the entire time.

BREAKING DAWN:
**BIGGGGGG SPOILER ALERT**
Hehe, PG-13. No, really, it's not that bad. Bella and Edward get married, and they do what married couples do. So it's not bad morally, but maybe not for little kids either...Still, you get to see Emmett a LOT more, which is a huge plus to me. Jacob appears plenty, too, and there's even a section of the book written from his point of view! Awesome!

So there's my view on the books. I'll just wrap this rant up with some lovely cast photos :D

**WARNING!! CONTAINS A VERY SHIRTLESS MALE. IF YOU ARE GOING TO HATE ME FOREVER FOR POSTING SUCH ATROCITIES, DO NOT SCROLL FARTHER THAN THIS. THANK YOU.**

Parts I and II

Well, I'm going to type some stuff now, and then finish this post later tonight after play practice so I can include what happens then, too. That way, I don't post twice and clog up y'all's dashboards, but I have time to post everything I want to say :) Because I am NOT going to type out a whole run-down of my day at 10pm tonight when I can barely keep my eyes open.

Wait...I can barely keep my eyes open now...

I am runnin' on adrenaline, people!

I'm pretty sure the schedule is about to become a thing of the past. I'm just too busy to crank out good advice, character sketches, awards, etc. on a daily basis right now :(

I still love "Mulan" SO MUCH and I'm definitley gonna cry when it's over in a little more than a week, lol :'( The school performance is a week from tomorrow, and the last show is a week from Sunday. This has been the most amazing and fun experience, and I treasure everyone I met. I'm going to miss them so much...

"I'll Make A Man Out Of You" is getting better and better. Shang still hit a couple of flat (I think XD) notes, but I'm confident that he'll fix that before showtime.

I have written absolutely, flat-out NOTHING that wasn't school-related for about two weeks. That's pretty bad, I know, but I'm so caught up in other stuff that I barely have time to miss it. I know once the play ends (*SOB!!*) I'll have more time, but I really don't want it to end. Really. I'm really tired all the time and I'm working on school until 11:30pm some nights, but it's all worth it! I love this play!

I'm trying to make this a balanced post with stuff about every aspect of my life, but somehow everything comes back to "Mulan".

The stuff that the cast is doing together is gonna be awesome. This Saturday, some people are going to a little coffee shop owned by one of the mom's of someone in the play. We're gonna eat stuff and maybe watch "Mulan" on the big TV :D :D :D I want to go SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO badly, but my mom says she'll have to see how I feel and how school is going for me. She thinks I'm wearing myself to a pulp, which maybe I am, but that's okay with me! *sigh* I can still see her point though. I'm going to work really hard in school and eat lots of healthy stuff so I "feel good" this Saturday :D :D :D

Oh, remember how last Saturday's practice was from 10-5? This one is from 2-7, so it isn't as long. Yeah. I don't know why I'm telling you this.

On opening night, we're all going to go to a Mexican restaurant together!! And then the day after opening night, we're going to a little pizza place. And then on the day of the last performance, we're gonna go to someone's house for hot dogs and chips and stuff!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!

I love these people and I want to spend as much time as possible with them before TIME'S UP! Because even if they all do plays in the future, this exact awesome cast will NEVER BE EXACTLY THE SAME TOGETHER EVER AGAIN!!!!!! I must CARPE DIEM and enjoy everything to absolute highest degree NOW NOW NOW!

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

O.O

Wow. I'm not wound tight right now or anything...

Okay, end Post Part I.

PART II:

It is after play practice. Hmm. Shang and Mulan still have a ways to go before they have all their lines down at the end :- Yikes. We go on in 8 days. The director was not exactly pleased with our progress.

Other things happened, but I think I will document them in my journal and not on the blog :P

Thanks for reading!

Chinese Culture

Fact or Fiction?

"The Chinese are considering renouncing the one-child law."

Comment. Email. No Google. First one correct gets an award (no longer all who get it correct, sorry :-\).

Oh, yeah, and here's the award from last week that I forgot about XD Cavender and Justagirl4god got it right! (Will a tooth left in Coca-Cola over night disolve? The answer is NO! That's a myth!)

Award:
---------------------------
"Let's get down to business
To defeat the Huns
Did they send me daughters
When I asked for sons?
You're the saddest bunch
I ever met
But you can bet
Before we're through
Mister, I'll make a manout of you
***
(Be a man)
We must be swift asthe coursing river
(Be a man)
With all the forceof a great typhoon
(Be a man)
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as thedark side of the moon!"

I am listening to the Mulan soundtrack for the third time today. I have no idea how, but I'm still not sick of the songs yet...

Favorites:
1. Written in Stone
2. I'll Make a Man Out of You
3. A Girl Worth Fighting For

The way the guys do A Girl Worth Fighting For is hilarious! They do a great job, even with the harmony and stuff. I have no real idea who's reading this, since no one uses their real name, but if any of the guys from the play is reading this, GOOD JOB! XD

School is going okay. I've barely started "Pilgram's Progress", and I need to finish by tomorrow so I can start on the writing assignment: write an allegory. Sounds pretty fun to me. I'm going to try to make mine more subtle than John Bunyan's. *rolls eyes* I mean, really. A guy named Help? Hmm, wonder what he symbolizes...sheesh :P

I've become a little obsessed with Chinese culture. (Gee, wonder why? It can't be the fact that I'm totally EMERSED in it 24/7 because of Mulan, can it? XD) It's so fascinating. Very unfair, but fascinating. I love different cultures, they get my imagination going, and I just love learning about them. Chinese culture is such a good culture to write stories in. It's really sad that you're only allowed to have one child, but it does create an interesting premise for stories.

*frowns at self* Maybe I'm just horrible and unfeeling. Oh dear...

I had lots of crazy dreams last night, but I can't remember them clearly at all. Something about kidnapping and a driveway...lol, no idea!

Dance tonight! And no play practice, so I don't have to miss it.

Lizzy will be THIRTEEN YEARS OLD in TWO DAYS!! :O :O It's freaky enough that Matt ("little brother") just turned thirteen, but Lizzy? That's freakier even still.

He turned eighteen (18) today. :- Wow.

Writing on "Mirror" = zip
Writing on random otherness = some

That's all :D Thanks for reading!

The Beaches of Ministry

Memory Day! :D A peek into my past...

When I was around two years old, I attended play practice for the Christmas play at my church. I was too little to have a part, but I went along anyway, I guess. During a break in practicing, the adults went aside to talk about some details and make some decisions. Meanwhile, I convinced the older children and teenagers to march around the sanctuary being camels. When the adults looked up from their planning, there was a train of teenagers stomping around the sanctuary pretending to be camels—with me at the front of the procession.

Haha, I don't know if that should really count as a memory--I don't remember it all that well. Mostly I've just heard the story told.
----------------------
First: Thank you, Rochelle Blue for the question! Yay!! So, the rest of you guys are off the hook--for now -.-

Classical Conversations (my weekly "school") was today. It went much better than last week. My class is slowly getting back to its old self. In biology, we looked at a piece of thread and some cheek cells under a microscope. That was pretty interesting, fun, and funny :) I had the best cheek cells :D Lots of epitheleal (spelling??) cells to sketch.

Cassidy and her family stayed for dinner (Domino's pizza), and we went to the revival service at another church where our church band played again.

We have the best church ever :P We play real music, clap, sing, and praise God! Some of the people were kind of shocked that we actually had DRUMS and ELECTRICE GUITARS, but after a few minutes, they seemed to like it. Of course, by the end of the songs, the 23 people who showed up from our church were basically the only people still standing :)

I liked the pastor's sermon a lot. He talked about how funny it is that we make plans, clear our schedules, pack up, load up the car, rent a beach house, take our stuff down to the beach, put on sunblock, set up the chairs, and then try our very best not to get wet or sandy.

Huh?

He said that that's kind of how some of us Christians are about God. We're really excited, but then we get to the "beach" of ministry where it can get a little uncomfortable, and we're ready to step back out of the water. It was really thought-provoking, and the pastor was really funny.

Well, I'm supposed to get off the computer at 10:15 since school started, and it's 10:20 right now, so I better go. Thanks for reading, and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't hesitate to ask questions for Question Day :)

Thanks for reading, y'all!

Couldn't Help Myself

My favorite Jace quotes from "The Mortal Instruments" trilogy. Enjoy!

1. "Unfortunately, Lady of the Haven, my one true love remains myself, [but] I turn myself down occasionally, just to keep it interesting."

2. “I am a bad***, and I recognize that you, too, are a bad***."

3. "If you were half as funny as you think you are, you'd be twice as funny as you are now."

4. “...in fact, don't touch any of my weapons without my permission.”

5. “It wouldn't be my move. First the candy and flowers, then the apology letters, then the ravenous demon hordes. In that order.”

6. "Don't tell me. Simon's turned himself into an ocelot and you want me to do something about it before Isabelle makes him into a stole. Well, you'll have to wait till tomarrow. I'm out of commission.” He pointed at himself-he was wearing blue pajamas with a hole in the sleeve. “Look. Jammies.”

7. “The meek may inherit the earth, but at the moment it belongs to the conceited. Like me.”

8. "I have a high pain threshold. In fact, it's more of a large and tastefully decorated foyer than a threshold. But I do get easily bored."

9. "No. I'm just a very naughty boy. I do all sorts of bad things. I kick kittens. I make rude gestures at nuns."

10. “That does it. I’m going to get you a dictionary for Christmas this year.”

11. "I see. I'll just have them change demonology text books from ‘almost extinct' to 'not extinct enough for Alec. He prefers his monsters really, really extinct. Will that make you happy?"

12. "Yeah. He’s terrified I’ll tell everyone that he's always really wanted to be a ballerina.”

13. "'Ha Ha?' That's your comeback?"

14. "I loved that jacket!"

15. “No, we’ve been punching her repeatedly in the face. Why, do you think that won’t work?”

16. “I am a man and men do not consume pink beverages. Get thee gone, woman, and bring me something brown.”

17. “I don't want to be a man. I want to be an angst-ridden teenager who can't confront his own inner demons and takes it out verbally on other people instead."

Love it. Hope you did, too. I had to take out some of my favorites because they're...really hilarious, but kind of thing that could be blush-inducing. I don't feel like posting that sort of thing here, lol! And I apologize for this unseemly bout of teenage girlishness.

*Temporarily* Trekkie

Sorry. I promise this won't last long, but right now I'm still in love with this movie. I was shocked at how good it was!! Really, it's been a long, long, LONG time since a movie blew me away like this. Everything was so...awesome. And since today is Picture Day, I decided to let myself go ;)

But, you know me. I'll get over this ridiculous obsessiveness within a couple of weeks, a month at the most. Remember my little freak-out over Darth Vader in February or whatever? I'm telling you, I'll see this kind of stuff and go crazy, and then I'll go back to normal. But I still love it. Like, I mean, really, Darth Vader is awesome, right?

*sigh*

The weirdest part is, I don't think of myself as being a SciFi kind of person. Like, at all. Most of it bores me and annoys me. And yet, I love Star Wars and Star Trek...*sigh* I am a mystery even to myself ;)

Anyway.

So, Captain Kirk is pretty awesome. He's probably my favorite character. (There's a shock, right? But at least I didn't fall in love with the villain this time.)

The casting for this was unbelievable!! All the characters look just like younger versions of the original guys (and girl). Spock was definitely the best match, but Captain Kirk was great, too.

There's lots of action in the movie, the plot was great, the acting was good, there was some really funny lines (LOLS), and everything was just awesome!! Everyone should see this movie. Lizzy (my little sister) even liked it!!! *gasp* And she HATES this kind of stuff. Well, she likes Star Wars okay. But usually all the fighting and stuff she doesn't like. There was a little bit of a guy screaming, but I got through that and it didn't bother me as much as I was afraid it might. *shrug* I guess Star Trek is just that awesome.

'Kay. I'll shut up now. If I can. You should go see the movie. It's really good.

P.S. Checkoff (however you spell it) was absolutely *adorable*. In the picture with the old and the new people together, he's the second guy on the bottom row.

My Obsessiveness, and I Meet My Own Character!

Hmm. Not much to say.

*sigh* I can't stop thinking about "Star Wars." I'm such an obsessive person. I feel everything about ten times stronger than your average person. When I love something/someone, it's way more powerful and crazy than my friends. The same with everything! I get really into books and movies. I was the number one publicist for "Twilight"! Lol! I go through phases. They usually last about a month. Some things with me never change though. I'm not completely a changing person. And when I do quit having an insane interest in something, I don't start hating it or anything. The spark is just gone. BUT, if I read the book/see the movie/come in contact with the person, the passion will return! Always does. Ask Darth Vader :) (LOVE THOSE MOIVES.) Oh, and guess what? I just realized today that I've been spelling my favorite villain's name wrong! It's "VadEr" not "VadOr."

School is.....bleck. I don't understand physical science and I'm putting off asking for help because I know I'm already behind...I don't want to call attention to the fact that, well...I've slacked. Not a ton, just a little, but still. *sigh* And I'm getting deeper in confusion by the minute...Not smart, I know.

Writing "Creepy Story" is going pretty well. I'm at sort of a dead end, but for some reason that doesn't bother me as much as I guess it should...

Oh my gosh! Something crazy happened yesterday! Okay, so, there's a character in COJ (Chronicles of Jeolotoe) named Ember Smokeman (she's a fire fairy, lol). She's an incredible dancer and is an entertainer for the Fire Lord. She's spontaneous, hilarious, and intense. Well, guess what? There's a girl in my dance class that's just like her!!!!!! It scares me! The girl (McKinna) looks exactly like I imagined Ember, acts exactly like Ember, her VOICE is just like Ember's, people like her just like people like Ember, she's funny like Ember, and she dances pretty well!! (Ember dances better though.) It's soooooo creepy! I feel like I brough McKinna to life! I know that's crazy and I didn't, but it's so weird! I feel like I know her so personally. I feel like I just want to walk up to her and talk to her for days on end. I feel like she IS Ember, and I want to have a face-to-face conversation! You have NO IDEA how weird it is. I honestly feel like I've met my own character. I've never actually talked to McKinna though. She's a senior and I'm a freshman, so I'm not sure if she would talk to me...It's still crazy though.

Well, that was a loooooooooong post! Sorry. You're probably bored stiff (if you've even made it this far into the post). I'll stop. :) TTYL!
