MUST WRITE!!

I love writing.

But sometimes it seems like more of a disease or a mental illness than a gift. I can't stop. Even when I have horrible writer's block (like I do now), I still have the uncontrollable desire to write! You can't imagine how frustrating that is! I can't write, and yet I must. It's hard to describe. Music does that to me. It makes me want to write like crazy, and I get the most amazing feeling like I just HAVE TO WRITE! Unfortunately, music doesn't get rid of the writer's block, so I have to sit there listening to the music driving me crazy! (Betcha wondered how I got so crazy, huh? :D)

Well, that's my venting for today. :)

hey there. just visiting the blogs you're in after you commented in mine ^^
well, the PWG freaks me out ^_^" (don't take it wrong =P kinda kidding), so much people and big posts. I do love reading, but more books than in my pc, and I don't really have much time to read
I'm curious about your story, but I currently just haven't got the time to read it X(
sorry for the looong comment =)
see ya

Thanks for reading!! Wow, no one ever does haha so that's cool you did!

Yeah, the PWG has long posts, but they're pretty cool. It's a great place to sharpen writing skills and stuff.

Thanks for the interest in my story! Maybe there's hope of someone buying my stories if they ever get published :)

Np about the long comment. The longer the better! LOL! Thanks again!

^^ good
ok. I love reading, and I kinda like writing, but I'm not that good, I don't like it that much and I haven't got the time (as usual)
I bet if they get published people will surely buy them. *every* books gets copies sold, even if not many, although I hope yours becomes a success =)

oops, so many errors ^^" they're from writing fast and... well I dunno the term for it, you know, not caring about capital letters, accentuation (this one doesnt matter in english, but it does in portuguese. btw, im portuguese ^^) and such

Kendra Logan said...

Oh, it's fine about no capitals and stuff. I don't actually know the term for it either...lol!

Cool about being portuguese! I noticed you put stuff on your blog in portuguese as well as English. That's so cool! I love languages, but right now in school I'm stuck in Latin for another year :( Lol!

Thank you about my books! I bet you're better at writing than you think. You're always harder on yourself than other people would be.

What kind of books do you like to read? I saw you like the Inheritance Trilogy. What did you think of Brisingr?

I never had latin... I have english since 1st class, but I'm way ahead my colleagues (not to show off, it's just the truth. I mean, I speak and write english fluently with few difficulties, while they struggle to conjugate verbs). also had french for 3 years, but I never liked it and didn't learn much. I can speak a little german (before I could speak it fluently but I stopped training and lost it), as my father's german and I lived in germany
I guess I'm not terrible, and sometimes I feel like writing, but I'm not good at it
well, I like fantasy stuff, love manga, kinda like american comics, and some novels (I'm almost through haruki murakami's work, the books that are translated into portuguese, and I like it very much). what about you?
about brisingr... I liked it, but I think not as much as eldest. I like the inheritance trilogy (well not a trilogy anymore), but I dont love it. I think tolkien's work is far better

Kendra Logan said...

Latin is kind of fun, but I'd rather learn a language that's still spoken, you know? That's really cool that you're so fluent in English. I don't know if I could ever get that good at a foreign language. English seems like it would be particularly hard to learn because of all its irregulatities. Was it hard?

I agree on both things about the Inheritance Cycle. Brisingr was definately my least favorite of the three that are out. Eragon was probably my favorite.

Tolkein, I agree is a better writer. I haven't read all the "Lord of the Rings" books though. I've read the "Fellowship" and most of the "Two Towers", but not all of it. I just can't stick with them for some reason. I really like the story though. The movies are my favorite! Even though somethings were left out, the movie kept to the spirit of the book.

That's so cool that you've lived in Germany! I've lived in the US (in North Carolina) all my life. I want to travel when I grow up though. I really want to go to Ireland. I don't know why, but that's one place I really want to go. Everything is so green! What's it like in Portugal?

it's weird but I don't really know how I got to know english like this ^^" I just know I never had problems with learning it. I guess I was helped mainly by tv, at first, music, and later by the internet and pc games. anyway I think english must be one of the easiest languages to learn
^_^ yeah it's cool but I don't remember *any* of it, it was till I was 2/3 years old =(. I haven't lived anywhere else, but I can't complain of not travelling enough.
I really wanna go to japan ^^
portugal is... well I guess it's a nice country to visit... pretty much like every country, it has some beautiful areas good for tourism, and the normal and ugly parts where most of its inhabitants live their lives ^^". it's hard to say for a country's inhabitant how it's like, but from what I've visited and from what tourists say, I guess it's a nice country to visit
I'd like to visit the us too, but I'd like to see much of it, you know, the big cities, the small towns, the plains, the mountains... from what I've seen in pictures the us have some amazingly beutiful places, but they're so big, you know

Kendra Logan said...

I guess it would be hard to describe where you live. I was just trying to think of how to describe the US, and I'm not sure how. Where I like is pretty, I guess. I live in the country sort of, but near the mountains. The mountains are really pretty! I haven't actually been to the tourist attraction kind of places. I've been to a couple of museums in Raleigh, but I haven't seen many natural kind of things.

That's too bad you don't remember Germany very much, but it's still cool to have lived in another country!

You must be really smart to have learned English so easily! Latin wasn't exactly easy for me, and its patterns aren't even hard to follow!

wow, that is (at least in my mind) the best kind of landscape in the us. I imagine greeny plains, with snowy mountains and a river nearby ^^"
well I do kinda know germany, because I visited it like 6/7 times after moving back to portugal, but it was always in the summer
XD I'm afraid that's not quite true

Kendra Logan said...

I haven't ever been to the mountains when it was snowing, but that's probably what it looks like! There is a river with a waterfall, and lots of trails and rocks to climb. I love the mountains, but the beach is still my favorite! :)

That's cool you get to visit Germany! Gosh, I wish I could travel more. I guess maybe it's easier for you to travel since you have a lot of different countries pretty close. Do you get to travel a lot? Do you go to Spain a lot? Haha, maybe that seems like a dumb question... :)

Anonymous said...

cool! XP I don't really like the beach... I suppose it's okay, but I'd sure love some rocky and snowy mountains with a river and a waterfall ^_^
I sometimes travel in summer vacation... I was in germany, england and france only XD but it's already good, besides I went to germany and england more than once
XD it's not a dumb question! I only went to spain twice, by car, but I know many people who go there often, either to work or visit. it's easy, specially for the people who live in the north and east of portugal, because it's so closeby

Do you go to Spain a lot? Haha, maybe that seems like a dumb question... :)

Kendra Logan said...

England, France, and Germany?? That's awesome!! I can't wait until I'm old enough (and have enough money to) travel around places like that.

That's cool about Spain. I thought maybe you might go there since you're so close and everything. People tell me Portuguese and Spanish are a lot alike. Do you think so?

Anonymous said...

^_^
hmm... I guess we are alike in some things, but many habits are different. the way of life is similar, I think

Kendra Logan said...

Cool; what about the language? I love languages. I have a list of languages I want to learn, haha!

Anonymous said...

although for us inhabitants the languages are very different, in overall they are similar languages. a portuguese can usually understand most of what a spanish says, although a spanish will find it much more difficult to understand what a portuguese says ^_^

Kendra Logan said...

That's really interesting. I wonder why Portuguese can understand Spanish better than Spanish can Portuguese. Do you think you could teach me some Portuguese?

Anonymous said...

yeah, me too
it's not that I don't want too... but I just have no idea of how I should teach someone portuguese ^^". I can, if you want, teach you some expressions and how to say them, but for further learning you should check websites

Kendra Logan said...

Okay, that's cool! Yeah, teaching a language would be hard. I just love languages so much lol! I went on your blog and was trying to see if I could teach myself some Portuguese by looking at the translations lol! I'm a nerd :)

Anonymous said...

you want me to write the stuff here or send it by e-mail/messenger?
XD that's pretty hard, given the fact that I don't always translate stuff literally ^^
nerds are cool =P

Kendra Logan said...

You can write it here or email it. Whichever is easier. Thanks!

Lol, thanks for saying so :)

Kendra Logan said...

Just in case you don't have it, my email is embersmokeman@yahoo.com lol

Anonymous said...

I think I'll email you. no problem ^^
