Twenty-Five Days...

There are only 25 days until Christmas! How exciting! And doesn't it feel like we just did this? Wow, the whole year has absolutely blown by. Pretty soon, 2010 (don't you love saying "twenty-ten"?) will be here, and I didn't achieved my New Year's Resolution (stop cracking my knuckles). *sigh*

But, back to Christmas :)

I've made some smaller Christmas color changes to the blog! I might be interested in a Christmas header, too, if someone *cough Bethany cough* has time... :) I'm going to do a Countdown to Christmas! I'm torn between two ideas, though. Help?

Idea #1: Each day I'll post something about the number of days till Christmas. So, for 25, I might say something like..."There is a spiral galaxy about 25 million light years away from earth!"

Idea #2: I'll post something Christmas-y, simple as that. Today's might be a recipe for cookies or pictures of crazy Christmas trees.

What do you think? I'd like everyone's opinion! You read it, so you should decide. Even if you don't care, I want to hear your thoughts :)

MERRY 25-DAYS-TILL CHRISTMAS!

P.S. If anyone knows how to get their blog to "snow", let me know! I've been wondering about that.

EDIT: I DID IT!! :) It's super easy, definitely the easiest widget I've ever added. Just go here and it's duh from there :) http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2008/12/simple-snow-effect-widget-for-blogger.html

I dunno bout snow, but I can probably do a Christmas header of some sort, I know Bethany is pretty busy with NaNo at the moment.
I use Photoshop CS3, and am still learning, but if she doesn't have time, I would love to help.

And I like the idea of recipes:)

I like idea one and two. Maybe you could mix 'em up or something. But if I absolutley have to choose...idea one. And if you find out how to get snow...can you please let me know too?

Both of your ideas sound good! Maybe the second one is more festive, but the first one is interesting as well!

I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season!

Cassie

P.S. Thanks for the offer of your prayers on your comment on my blog... I'm going to need them! LOL!
