First: THANK YOU TO CIARAAA:) FOR FOLLOWING! YAAAY! You are awesome! AND you love the classic Disney movies apparently, which, of course, triples your awesomeness :)
Challenge Day: learn to juggle.
------------------------------
Guess what?
I'm done with school for the day :O
I don't know how I did it, but apparently I just way over-scheduled Wednesday and Thursday, so today and Monday I have hardly any work to do! Yay!!
So, as soon as Lizzy's done with her school work (it's her first year of middle school! :O), I'm going to watch The Scarlet Pimpernel. I've been having an absolute CRAVING to watch that lately. I have no idea why. It's a great movie to any of you who haven't seen it. It's about a guy during the French Revolution who annonymously rescues people from the guilitine. He goes by the name of the Scarlet Pimpernel. It's such a good movie. Anthony Daniels plays the Scarlet Pimpernel, and the lady he falls in love with is played by Jane Seymore.
**BREAKING-ISH NEWS** I actually got up to run today!! :O I know, hard to believe, isn't it? I got up at 6:50am, and was out of the house at 7:05. I was out until 7:30. I ran some, walked some, ran some, walked some. I listened to my iPod, and that was cool. I'm in about as bad of shape as I thought, but no worse. I ran from the beginning of the trail to the little picnic shelter, but that means nothing to anyone except me, lol! It's not that far, so don't be impressed. It's kind of hard to say how far it was, because the trail twists and turns so much...It's maybe twice the length of a public school cafeteria. Does that help? Lol! :)
Lately music has helped me in a lot of areas. It made running more enjoyable, and I listened to the LotR soundtrack yesterday while I did math, and the difference was amazing! I finished my math in record time, about half as long as it usually takes me, and I only missed one! Today was the same except that I got three wrong, but still. I'm WAY not a math person, so any help at all is good. If you have trouble with math homework, I definitely suggest listening to that kind of music.
Well, I still haven't picked a song to sing for the Mulan auditions, and that's not good. The audition is a week from today. Wow. Time flies, doesn't it? I gotta get my act together and pick something. If you have any suggestions, feel free to give them!
Tomorrow I am babysitting for this girl (9 years old) and her brother (4? years old). She can be kind of nightmare, but usually not to me. She actually listens to me. Why is beyond me, but that's one thing I don't have to understand. I'm just glad she does.
Book action is about zero in the writing area, reading action is maybe a three. I'm reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, as well as finishing up The Knight's Tale for school. HP is alright, better than the first one so far, but not super exciting yet. The Knight's Tale is about the same as it was yeterday. Pretty dang good, just kind of long.
Uhm, I guess that's about it. Sorry for the looooong post. I know I rambled about my life, and honestly, y'all probably don't care that much, lol! And I honestly can't blame you one bit.
Carpe diem, y'all!
P.S. Don't forget about the Carpe Noctem Followers Say...thing coming up in September! You get to post on the blog about anything (well, read the full post) you want! Join the fun! Haha, if you're interested, or know someone who is, email me at livinglovinglaughinglearning@gmail.com.

It's cool to listen to music whilst writing too, when I was writing the last [very emotional and exciting] scene of my movie "Road to Freedom" I had the LotR soundtrack playing, and for my recent Scottish play twas some Riverdance and Lord of the Dance soundtrack [Siamsa and Warriors].
Scarlet Pimpernel: that just randomly reminded me of a cool website, www.aaatheatre.org which is the site of an amateur theatre group in my town that has been putting on plays in their basement for years [I've posted about them before]. They've got photos on the website of some of their plays, including Scarlet Pimpernel, but when I think about it I may have only seen those pics on another site, http://www.volpephoto.com/gallery/641973_2xAtb#27415107_BuYhr
which is a great photography site by the way. Also because I know quite a lot of the people pictured, haha!
random musings!
*heart*,

Well, it's going to be hard to compete with that comment... (Not that I feel that it's a competition... XD) All I have to say is that music+boring=not boring, and work+music=more enjoyable work.
And that I need to go watch the Scarlet Pimpernel...
wow mulan auditions! cool! and good luck..:)
im not a maths person either, it totally confuses me :( but hopefully if i pass this year il never have to do it again!
oh and thanks for the mention in the post that was so nicee! :)xoxo
With me, working with music on is not a good idea. I get nohing done. I listen to exciting and passionate classical peices(not that boring monotonous stuff) and when I listen to it I can not think of anything but the music and how beatiful and heartwrenchig it is. I am kind of strange like that, if you know what I mean :)
sorry about all of the misspellings.
(I hope I didn't spell any of those words wrong :)
nice blog!
Bethany: Oh, cool! Yeah, I really don't know why, but for some reason listening to music when I'm writing just distracts me. It's weird though because in other areas, it really helps. *shrugs*
Oh, cool theatre group! I'll check those sites out!
Cavender: Haha, a comment competition, hmm... ;) Just kidding.
You do, it's a good movie.
Ciaraaaa:): Thanks! Yeah, I'm really excited :)
Wow, never doing math again...THAT would be a dream come true, lol! Oh, no problem about mentioning you in the post. As an awesome follower you deserve to be recognized :)
Veronica: I totally know what you mean. Sometimes music does that to me, too. The LotR soundtrack isn't too distracting, though.
Don't worry about mispellings; I don't mind one bit.
Lilee: Thanks!!
lovely blog!
and I agree with listening to music, I absolutely have to listen to music when I do anything lol; when I clean or cook or write or walk, I have to be listening to a song =)
Scarlet Pimpernel sounds like a great movie, I will definitely try it out =)
Rochelle
Thanks, Rochelle! I'm starting to listen to music a lot more often, too. It really helps with just about everything!
Yes, the movie is very good, especially if you like exciting historical-fiction stuff.
Yay! Jogging is great and I'm glad you finally made it :P
My sister did her college project on the effect of music on things and the human brain. She did an experiment in which plants grew greener and thicker listening to classical music, they grew normal in silence, and they were almost dead with rock/metal music. Check it out: http://dreamymaygirl.blogspot.com/2009/06/interesting.html
So it's perfectly understandable that you worked better with that kind of music. I always do my excercise with quick music and my homework with soothing music. =)
